Hard to find in grocery stores in my area
My local store used to carry these soup bowls but not any more. Very happy to find they can be ordered from Amazon.
If you like hot and spicy foods you'll like this. Easy to prepare filling and inexpensive. Not the healthiest choice you can make but very tasty.

Yum!
These noodles remind me of home! I'm originally from California where it's fairly easy to find all types of Asian food but now that I live in Wisconsin I'm realizing that those days are over. So I was pretty psyched when these noodles popped up on the Amazon goldbox deal a week ago. They are really spicy and go great with napa cabbage bean sprouts and any other veggies you want. I tried them with egg earlier tonight after reading one of the other reviews on amazon and it was amazing! Highly recommended for people who love spicy food but also recommended for those (like me) who don't... just add half the seasoning packet!

good for busy days
Seafood ramen... I love having these sodium/msg-packed instant noodles every once in awhile when I'm too lazy to make lunch or dinner. I don't know if you'd actually call these "seafood" flavored though there are little dried fish cakes and plenty of seaweed in them but they are somehow indescribably good. I actually like the original flavor better but since these were cheaper I went with it.
I've seen these with cheaper prices at asian supermarkets when it's on sale but if you "subscribe" to this on amazon it's worth an extra dollar or two not to make a trip to the market. When I cook these I usually add an egg some veggies and leftover meat (or whatever is in the fridge). The seafood flavor packet is strong so it adds lots of flavor to everything else.
When I got these delivered none of my ramen were crushed so it really depends on how carefully your delivery company treats the boxes. Anyway I'd suggest buying one packet at a store first to try it before committing to a whole box.

Tasty Easy to Make Treat
I used to buy these years ago in packet form from an Asian grocery store near Cincinnati and couldn't find them when I moved away. They are a proper-sized meal very tasty (and spicy) and just need hot water. They are quite hot (spicy) and a bit salty: you can tone it all down by just using less of the included flavor packet. I like to add some pouch-salmon tuna or some sliced hard-boiled egg to make a very nice lunch or dinner. These are great for traveling or a quick and easy meal with no cleanup. Cheap too! These are in no way like the grocery store Top Ramen or Ichiban these are the real deal.

Very delicious but very high in sodium
I am a ramen lover and have tried hundreds of varieties over the years including my time in Japan the land of endless ramen varieties. Nong Shim (Korean) is a long-time favorite and among the top 3 makers on my list. Their noodles are heartier and more delicious than everybody else's mostly because they use better ingredients. The texture is firmer and more elastic even retaining their chewy mouth-feel over time unlike other noodles that quickly become mushy. If you're used to bargain basement brands like the NISSIN TOP RAMEN do yourself a favor and try a Nong Shim.
Among the higher quality ingredients that Nong Shim puts in here are ginger and shrimp extracts beef and pork bone stock and beef tallow. Beef tallow is the same stuff that makes McDonald's french fries so tasty.
Pros
+ very tasty spicy and filling
+ excellent texture to vegetable seasoning pack (dried cabbage carrots onions mushroom). I can actually taste the veggie bits.
+ 0mg cholesterol and no trans-fats
Cons
- 500 calories in 1 pack. 160 of which are fat calories
- 40% of your daily saturated fat intake
- EXTREMELY SALTY: 94% of your daily sodium intake if you drink the soup
Despite directions for boiling the noodles for 3 minutes it can be prepared with just boiling water and a bowl. I made some with hot water from the office Flavia machine (coffee and tea maker) and waited 5 minutes.
Because of the very high sodium and fat content instant ramen should not be eaten often. But in a pinch (either due to lack of time money cooking skills or all 3) ramen can provide a quick and filling meal. It is very easy to add vegetables and leftovers to it to mitigate the saltiness and provide better nutritional value. Ramen alone is just calories fat and salt and offers little nutrition. The powder packet packs a punch and half a pack or less is sufficient for full flavor and to reduce the sodium level.
Canned corn can be added (a popular topping in Japan) soft boiled egg shredded green or Chinese/Nappa cabbage or other vegetables kimchi spring onions boiled shrimp or fish fillet or whatever you like. The soup packet can also be used to make a pot of spicy soup as you would use a soup mix or bouillon cube.
Instant ramen is unhealthy because they are fried in palm oil or some other fat then dried and packaged. But if you're going to eat something bad for you might as well have it be delicious and this Nong Shim variety is among the best.
Product made in CA.

This is as good as you will probably find for packaged udon. The broth is light enough I don't hesitate to drink it all down. There are small tempura and vegetable pieces that rehydrate. You prepare the bowl by adding hot water to the noodles draining the water with the lid provided (has holes to allow water to drain) then refill with water and let it sit for a few minutes with the included seasonings. Noodles are nice and thick not mushy.

Spicy and Fishy
Let me start off by saying I love Nong Shim bowl noodles! At this price I couldn't pass them up!
I prefer the original spicy but decided to give the Spicy Seafood a try this time. There is a fishy scent which I found unappealling at first but have since learned to live with. Also this variety is not nearly as spicy as I would prefer and certainly less spicy than the original flavor bowls. There are bits of dried crab and shrimp in the bowls along with nice size pieces of mushroom and green onion (and other vegetables as well). As with other Shim products the noodles taste great and seem to be a better quality than other brands of instant noodles.
I add a few dashes of tabasco black pepper and a pinch of garlic powder before adding the water. This takes care of the fishy smell (for the most part) and brings the spiciness level up as well.

Nice change of pace
I have my kitchen stocked with all kinds of ramen/ramyuns and this is a nice change of pace when I want noodles without the broth. I usually mix the sauce components in the bowl I'm going to be eating out of and add a few tablespoons of the liquid I used to boil the noodles in to it. Just have to add the drained noodles and mix. I only use about three tablespoons of water to get the sauce the consistency I like but you can add more/less depending on how you like it. This noodle is traditionally eaten with a side of slices of pickled radish (the yellow stuff you might find at your asian grocer). If you don't have pickled radish you might enjoy it with a side of sliced cucumbers or other fresh vegetable because the sauce might be kind of heavy. I find this sold at my store for $5.99 per pack of five so the price on Amazon is not bad.

Taste great to me.
I realize this is a matter of opinion in taste and things like that what I may like may not be what others could like in terms of food but in my opinion this noodles are pretty good. If you don't like spicy food don't buyit but if you do then this is for you. I also like to mention I place in the microwave for at least 4 t0 6 minutes long. The best result is to boil water pour in the bowl nad then place in the microwave for about a minute to a minute and half and wait two to three minutes to eat.

Taste great and a good value
I really like these easy and quick to make and they taste pretty good. They tend to be pretty spicy (I like them that way) so if you don't like spicy food use less of the flavoring packet.

Best spicy noodle on the market
Although this noodle is the "default" according to my Korean friend I believe it is the best spicy noodle on the market. It is VERY spicy for those that are not accustomed to spicy food. If you have not tried this noodle before I'd recommend using only half the chili powder packet. Then adjust as necessary for later meals. I've been eating this noodle for years and years. The recipe that I normally use is:
1 egg
Chinese green onions (chopped)
lemon juice
sesame oil
Bring water to a boil with the noodle in a pot. Then pour out the water and run cold water over the noodle. This cleans the noodles of the materials left over from the manufacturing process. Set noodle aside. Then bring filtered water to a boil with both ingredient packets. It takes several minutes for the dried vegetables to hydrate. Put noodles back in. Add 3-4 drops of lemon juice and 1-2 drops of sesame oil. Add the green onions. Stir. Break the egg over the top of the noodles. Make sure your hands are dry to avoid steam burns! Wait until the egg white turns from translucent to white. Serve over large bowl. Break the egg and allow the yolk to run over the noodles. YUM!

They work but these are expensive
I find they are actually less expensive elsewhere. I wish they had a little more give. The diaper genie container is wide enough to hold a tub of diapers twice the size around. It needs to be emptied way more often than necessary because the tub is so narrow.
